I have been playing viola and violin for over 17 years. Over those years I have studied, practiced, and performed many times. Whether I performed in school orchestras, community orchestras or local musicals - Whether I practiced for NYSSMA, sight-read duets with a friend, or locked myself in a practice room at college - Music has always been a huge part of my life.
I have studied with many teachers and from each of them I grew not just as a player, but as a teacher myself. You can always continue to learn, this is a fact I remind myself of every day. Playing and teaching music is one of my biggest passions in life and getting to work in it every week is one of the best things I can ask for.
